Nah. It’s a 2004 and I live in Michigan where they salt the roads
Seems like there might be a few issues. The coil spring could be broken, and the hub bearing might be bad, which could cause the rotor to rub against the caliper bracket and the tire to rub against the knuckle. The upper control arm might be cracked, but it could just be rust. It’s also possible that the brake pads and rotors need checking. It’s hard to say for sure.
not really coz it’s damn rusty tbh
I’ll go with a worn-out wheel bearing might be making the tire lean and rub against the knuckle. If you pull up on the bottom wheel studs, does anything move? The bearing is fixed in place, so if it’s not the bearing, the problem could be with the rim or its offset.
Fr. it’s i a really bad shape. try finding a car wash with underbody sprayers to wash off the salt. If not possible, use a hose with a shower nozzle and spray everything underneath the car. My 2008 frame rusted through and collapsed in 2021 with 116k miles, right after I did some suspension work.
i really hope this works out for you too
