Dash Alert Issue on my Ford Explorer

I had this light popping on my dash every now & then especially with the first drive of the morning. Help appreciated.

The “forward collision warning unavailable” message can happen for different reasons. If a sensor or camera is dirty or covered in snow, that can cause it. Since it’s happening in the morning and is intermittent, it might just be sun glare making it hard for the camera to see properly.

Definitely give your car a wash! A good underbody flush can clear up a lot of sensor errors. I’ve seen it work before!

do a check your owner’s manual in the glove compartment! It has pages with pictures of all the warning lights and what they all mean.

It says not to run over any IEDs. Since it’s warning you, it’s best to watch out.
