Anyone else not a fan of the 2025 Explorer dash display?

My wife and I checked out a 2025 ST yesterday, and we really liked the vehicle overall. One thing that stood out to me, though, is the digital cluster display. I’ve been in earlier models, and I remember the digital gauges being nicer and more customizable. I tried messing around with the settings, but couldn’t seem to find any options beyond what was already showing. Is this the only screen layout available? I posted a pic comparing the current dials with the ones from earlier years.

Am I the only one who hates the 0.7 tach? I like the nice bold fonts, but can’t stand that 0.7. Just looks ridiculous to me.

Is it because the 0 is bigger than the 7?

I agree it looks cheap/lazy, if that’s what I have to look at constantly I think we’ll have to pass on this vehicle.

The screens can be changed! W/o being in my car at this exact moment then I can’t tell you exactly how to change them.

It does have a ‘feature’ called ‘my view’ where you can select what gauges or whatever you want to see. This is in addition to the standard stuff.

I’ll try to remember and report back tomorrow unless someone else beats me to the thread.

No, you can change the cluster using the up/down arrows on right side. If nothing is happening when pressing the buttons, push the Menu button first then select controls.

We tried that all we were able to change was the info in the center of the screen like temps, fuel efficacy and trip mileage. The Tach and Speedo were what we were trying to change to something nicer looking.

@Keller
Not something you can do in Fords unless you change the drive mode, then they change.

@Keller
Can only do that on the Mustangs.

@Keller
Not exactly sure what you’re looking to do to customize the display but the 25’ has different options within the menu.
