Anyone else keep the back seats folded down all the time?

Got a 2019 Sport here… when the seats are folded, it feels like they’re kinda squished up. The headrests press into the seats, and it all seems pretty tight. Do you think keeping them folded for a couple of years will leave dents in the seats?

I barely use my back seats either. I’ve got a 2015 Explorer, and when I do finally put the seats up, they look fine. I can probably count on one hand the number of times I’ve used them!

Good to know! I’m thinking of getting a rubber mat for the back to protect it while they’re folded.

Yeah, I actually have WeatherTech for the front and middle rows, but I ended up choosing a more affordable option for the trunk area:

Are you folding down the 3rd row or the 2nd row seats? We keep the 3rd row seats folded 99% of the time on our 2017, and no issues so far.

Same here! If you’re putting people in the 3rd row, though, remember to keep the air on back there and move the second row a bit forward for legroom. Otherwise, our 3rd row is folded pretty much all the time too.

I keep all my seats folded down all the time. Put a piece of wood in the middle area to keep my dogs from scratching up the seat backs.

My third-row seats have been folded since I bought it back in 2013 :joy:
