2025 Ford Explorer ST … Did Ford Fix the Problems?

Exactly. An ST caught me off guard once—it launched hard, and I had to work to catch up.

Getting a head start isn’t that impressive when racing to 80 mph.

I wasn’t just talking about tunes. Full bolt-on setups can make these things monsters.

‘Full bolt-on’ now includes upgraded turbos and internals? Lmao.

Hey, those parts still use bolts!

Once you open the engine, it’s not bolt-ons anymore.

Pretty sure they were joking.

That’s just your opinion, man.

They can try to keep up, at least.

What were they thinking with the front end design? It’s awful.

It’s like they cut the grille out with a chainsaw. Just terrible.

Blame global design trends. This looks straight out of the Chinese market.

Neither version is great-looking, but this refresh somehow made it worse up front. At least the interior improved.

Both are ugly. This isn’t the win you think it is.

It looks like it got stung by a bee.

I don’t mind either, but the one in between these designs was the worst.

Well, Todd willing, he will.

Todd Willing wasn’t involved. This is just a copy of the Chinese 2023 Explorer refresh to save money.

SavageGeese said they’d take this over the CX-90 for driving dynamics. That’s gonna upset some folks.
