These lights and this Tire monitor fault just started the past 2 days, says one of my doors is open but doesn’t specify which one, I also am unsure what the brake light and the ! is for…
anyone with an idea of what the issue might be
The TPMS light means there’s a problem with the tire pressure system. One or more of the tire sensors might be faulty, or the system that monitors them could be having issues.
The red parking brake light means there’s a problem with your parking brake. You might have set it but not released it.
The door light means the car can’t tell if one or more of the doors is fully closed. Each door has sensors to check this.
A mechanic with a special scan tool can read the error codes and figure out what’s wrong. Most likely, all these issues can be fixed.
Also, my 2014 car once had multiple warning lights come on at the same time. It turned out the battery terminals were corroded. Ford cleaned them, and that fixed the problem quickly.
You can definitely give that a try, won’t hurt. But if the codes don’t go away, you’ll need to investigate further.
Just because a code disappears doesn’t mean the problem is fixed. It only means the code was incorrect or false.
Good luck
I’ve a 2009 model with 203,000 miles, so I’ve been through this myself.
Just went to AutoZone, and they couldn’t find any codes stored. I also couldn’t recreate the problem, so hopefully, it’s nothing serious.
