Need help identifying parts for replacement

Hey everyone! We bought a used 2012 Ford Explorer and we love it so far. Since it has high mileage, I’m replacing some things the previous owner neglected to make sure it lasts. The frame and other parts are in great shape with very little rust.

I need help finding two seals that I want to replace. I have pictures of them, but I can’t find their names or part numbers.

The first seal is between the windshield and the driver’s side trim. The second one is at the base of the windshield. Does anyone know what they are called or where I can find them?

I believe those are parts that there is a recall and a shortage on.

Just my luck though  :bowing_man:

Parts will be available before the end of the year.

replacement

Here’s the other seal I mentioned. It looks like it connects to the big fairing too, so I might need to replace the whole part.

These are usually called windshield or wiper cowls.

Thanks for the info! I’ve been trying to learn everything I can to fix my own cars, but there are so many different names for parts

Yeah no joke. These fail pretty frequently, tbh. You’d think the parts would be cheap but you’d be wrong

All of these are in stock on rock auto. Don’t wait for the recall they won’t actually fix the issue lol. Little silicone during installation would fix them flying off at highway speeds.
