It’s a beauty!
Do you get any clicking or clinking sounds while driving the new model?

Nope, no issues at all.

Glad to hear they’ve fixed that!
Beautiful ride!
She looks amazing!
Hope you have better luck than me. Mine has already been back to the dealership twice in the first 3k miles—left me stranded the first time.

What kind of issues did you have? Our last one was a 2020, and it wouldn’t start back up at lights with the auto start/stop on. It turned out to be the starter. We also had water leaks because the sunroof drains weren’t cleaned, which was a pain. Never had to deal with that on any of my other cars.
@Jules
First issue was an engine overheat warning, and it went into limp mode. Dealer said it was a bad software update. A week later, the check engine light came on, and the Ford app mentioned a power control module issue. Dealer couldn’t replicate it, though. Ford offered a 3-year/45k maintenance plan as a courtesy.

Only a couple hundred miles in so far, so no problems yet. Fingers crossed it stays that way. It’s my wife’s truck, so hoping she doesn’t get stranded again.
Not gonna lie, this new Explorer design is growing on me. Had a '97, and now I’ve got a '14.
